The Problem With Trading Price

Price Invites Fakeouts
Price can move on low-volume fakeouts, triggering stops and resulting in poor entries before reversing. Without volume context, it’s difficult to distinguish genuine expansion from temporary imbalance.
Price Hides Participation
Price shows where the market traded, not how committed the participants actually were. Institutions and whales leave hidden footprints in volume, not just price.
Price Ignores Fragmentation
Liquidity and real participation are fragmented across multiple exchanges. Identifying meaningful moves before they happen requires volume confirmation across the broader market.
Price moves, but volume confirms.

Meet the Suite
Twelve (12) volume-based indicators, each with a unique story to tell.
ADL accumulates volume weighted by where price closes within each bar’s high-low range, revealing whether buyers are steadily accumulating or sellers are distributing over time.
CMF reveals whether the market is consistently closing near the highs or lows on meaningful volume, exposing who holds intra-bar control across the session.
CVD tracks the running battle between aggressive buyers and sellers inside each bar, telling you which side is steadily winning the flow before price confirms it.
EOM measures how effortlessly price displaces relative to the volume behind it, helping you spot clean, low-friction moves versus the grinding ones that face growing resistance.
EVR shows you exactly how much participation it takes to produce each unit of price range, revealing where the market is quietly absorbing heavy volume without real progress.
MFI tells you whether volume-weighted money is flowing into rising typical prices or draining from falling ones, giving you the real sponsorship story behind every swing.
Net Volume gives you a clear bar-by-bar snapshot of the immediate tug-of-war between buying and selling pressure, based on where price actually finishes within the candle.
OBV acts as a long-term volume trendline, showing you whether cumulative participation is building on up-closes or fading on down-closes over time.
PVT weights volume by the actual percent price change it produces, highlighting when traded activity is truly translating into meaningful progress instead of sideways churn.
Total Volume simply displays the raw amount of market participation hitting the tape each bar, providing the essential liquidity context that frames everything else you’re watching.
VWAP shows the true volume-weighted average price since your chosen anchor period, giving you a practical fair-value benchmark that reveals when price is trading above or below where most volume exchanged hands.
VWRE identifies when range expansion and participation are both firing above average together, letting you see which impulses carry genuine conviction versus routine price action.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Consensus Indicator Suite
Our indicators use a compact, hardcoded venue map for each major (BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP). On every bar, they automatically fetch volume (and price data for conversion) from the finalized list of major spot and perpetual futures venues.
The data is normalized according to your chosen Mode (Base Units or USD Turnover), bad data is filtered, and everything is summed into one clean aggregate series. This gives you true market-wide consensus instead of single-exchange volume.
Absolutely. All twelve indicators (ADL, CMF, CVD, EOM, EVR, MFI, Net Volume, OBV, PVT, Total Volume, VWAP, VWRE) are built as native TradingView Pine Script v6 indicators. You add them directly from TradingView’s Indicators menu just like any other script.
Yes. The indicators update live in real time as new ticks and bars arrive on your chart, pulling fresh data from all the routed venues. You see participation building in the moment, not after the fact.
Yes. Thanks to the CIS Confluence Engine™, the paid versions show noticeably cleaner trends and stronger divergences because noise from any one venue is diluted. You’ll see higher participation bars and clearer conviction builds that simply don’t appear when you’re looking at volume data from a single chart.
Absolutely. You can create alerts on any plotted line, crossover, threshold, or condition exactly as you would with any other TradingView indicator. The alerts fire like normal, only with aggregated data, of course.
Both. The suite aggregates spot and perp volume from supported exchanges into a single unified signal. You’ll see the true total participation across the entire market, not just spot or just futures. You’ll also have the option within each indicator to use Spot Only, Perps Only, or both.
Yes, all twelve scripts are fully customizable inside TradingView. Change bar colors, line thickness, background transparency, and even add your own moving averages or thresholds directly in the indicator settings panel.
The Consensus Indicator Suite currently supports the five major assets: BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, and XRP. These are the finalized launch assets, each with its own optimized venue map covering major spot and perpetual futures exchanges. However, we are open to expanding support for other coins based on demand.
The indicator automatically switches to fallback mode and uses the chart’s own native volume (forced to Base Units). You will still see a working indicator, but it will show single-exchange data rather than the full multi-exchange aggregate. The debug table clearly shows “Fallback Chart,” so you always know the source.
This means our suite can serve as a full replacement for all your current volume indicators.
Yes. They are designed to work cleanly on every timeframe, including 1-minute and lower. The multi-exchange aggregation is especially helpful on lower timeframes because it smooths out noise from any single exchange.
